Hey all. It’s been a long time since my last post here. I admit it’s been a rough time since Long Beach Comic Con. For a generic update, I ended up having to move back to my parent’s place in Utah. That was about 9 months ago. I’ve been in a professional funk for the last few years, so things are really slow around here. My job search has not produced anything significant for the last 4 and a half years. As I look at the prospect of not really having any work for the foreseeable future, I’m looking for things to do and this is going to be one of the possibilities. I’m getting my home art studio set up a bit better, hopefully to get something good going. I’ve got new computer monitors installed. I’ve fixed up the art table. I’ve got artstuffs on the walls. Lighting is good. I hit up the local Dick Blick and went crazy on COPIC purchases. I was able to get a new Mac mini to drive the art computer space and my Cintiq. I’ve got enough supplies. My printer has fresh ink installed. I’m good to go… I think. I’m going to be getting back to some basics. I need to work on my figure drawing again. I need to force myself to practice. I’m a horribly lazy person, especially after all my medical fun back in 2014. I just need to work on it. I’m also in the planning stages of a re-imaging of my original webcomic, Beyond Neverwonder. 2016 is going to go down as a generally meh year for me, but I’m hoping that 2017 will be better. I’m crossing fingers, toes, eyes and anything else you can cross.
Here I go. Wish me luck.
