Running around in a major storm, you want to get yourself dry, right? Yeah, that’s what Kit thought too. But he never realized at the time that he was inside a old shrine. A shrine to Inari Okami, the Japanese god/goddess of fertility, rice, tea and sake, of agriculture and industry, of general prosperity and worldly success, and one of the principal kami of the Shinto religion. In earlier Japan, Inari was also the patron of swordsmiths and merchants. Oh, and the goddess of foxes. Ironic, isn’t it?
